Children of all ages will be able to enjoy a reading of The Mitten Tree. This picture book, by Candace Christiansen and illustrated by Elaine Greenstein, pays tribute to gentle kindness, generosity, and giving from the heart with no need for recognition. How appropriate during the month of February, a month that is known for its celebration of love and kindness. A related activity will also be presented.

Peter Pan Play School Returns

The Peter Pan Play School children hiked over to the new Chazy Public Library building on a cold January morning for their first Story Hour of 2012.

They warmed up by the new fire place in the reading room prior to meeting with Diane Sabourin and Esther Dominy for their stories.

2nd Grade Decorates Children's Room Tree

Mrs. Langlois' and Mrs. Barcomb's class came to decorate the tree in the Children's room donated by the Friends of the Libary group.

PETER PAN PLAY SCHOOL VISITS NEW LIBRARY

The Peter Pan Play School came for Story Time at the new Libary Wenesday  morning, Dec 7th, 2011. A longer walk from the Presbyterian church to the new location.

Diane Sabourin and Esther Dominy met with the children in the new, bright Children's room.

Kristin McAuliffe creates a Christmas tree with the children in the new, sunny area of the Children's room. Visible on the top shelf in the backgound are two special prints framed by Kristin and contributed to the Children's room by an artist friend of hers.
