OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING CONTINUES

Girl Scout Flowers are Holding their Color into the Fall

Mrs. Fairchild located our blue flag and suggested hoisting it since there are strangers that seem to have trouble finding our new library. It is quite visible from Rt. 9 now.

The Garden Shed nears completion

Volunteer, Jim West has assembled the basic structure from materials provided by Chazy Hardware.
Siding, door, and wiring remain incomplete at this point.
This construction is also made possible by a donation in Memory of Debby West.
Volunteers hope to complete the project before winter.

WRITING CLASS MET SATURDAY MORNING, OCT. 12TH





Susannah Risley lives in Schenectady. She has been teaching writing workshops in schools, community centers, prisons, homeless shelters and libraries across NYS for seventeen years. In 2009 she received a National Endowment for the Arts grant to bring creativity to upstate seniors.


She has published fiction, non-fiction and poetry.





This workshop is free and funded by Poets & Writers, Inc.

Brandy Juneau read stories of Fall leaves to the gathered youngsters. Then they went out on the grounds of the library to find various kinds of colorful leaves. Everyone gathered in the gazebo to show off their finds.
