FRIENDS OF THE CHAZY PUBLIC LIBRARY TO MEET WEDNESDAY EVENING

New members are always welcome, come and join us!!

On Wednesday, Feb.5th, a meeting of the Friends will be held in the library community room at 6:00. The officers have decided to cancel the planned potluck dinner and hold an organizational meeting in its place. Due to the unpredictable weather we've been experiencing we didn't think it was practical to ask members to participate in a potluck dinner. Perhaps we can reconsider this option for a future meeting.

We expect to discuss many recent topics, such as our very successful December Tea, as well as upcoming events. Upcoming events to anticipate include our annual membership meeting and fund raising.

Also, Matt Moore a student at  CCRS  will be holding a book sale for the benefit of the library on Feb 8th., from 9:00-3:00.  We hope that members will stop by the sale as this event is a very important  part of Matt's senior project.  Matt's goal is to raise 1,000.00 through the sale of books and a bottle drive. He has established a Chazy Library account at the Chazy Redemption Center so people can donate their bottles before the actual drive.  If anyone has books, CD's or DVD's they would like to donate the library will be accepting donations.
